Membership
We see members not as names on a roll but as disciples on a journey. Membership biblically reflects a community of disciples living life one to another as followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to honor that by not claiming members through transfer or attendance, but through a voluntary process of reflection and dialog about your life and spiritual journey in Christ. Alongside that we provide some appropriate study tools and experiences that convey the core foundations of faith and practice at Fellowship Church.
As we contend for the faith as the body of Christ, our community of disciples are encouraged to deeply and genuinely pursue God, even as He pursues connection with us through:
The Person of Christ
The Teachings of Christ
The People of Christ
The Work of Christ
Amassing crowds, constructing buildings, even reaching the lost – none of these serve their purpose unless people mature as believers and follow God in everyday life. This is ultimately the Kingdom agenda. And this is what it means to be a member.
There are three steps you take in becoming a member at Fellowship:
- Attend a Discover Fellowship seminar to learn more about us
- Work through a personal reflective Bible study called 21 Big Ideas
- Complete an Application and Interview with a member of our pastoral staff
The seminars are held several times a year, while the reflection guide is available anytime for your study and completion. For further information, go to contact Wendy Heintz at wheintz@fefc.com or at 470-9800.
